Continuing the arc of 1980s Communism, Fail-Safe finds our Legends up against Valentina Vostok as she looks to create a Soviet version of Firestorm. As Rip Hunter shows us, if this comes to pass, then the present-day (as in 2016) is in complete chaos as multiple Firestorms fill the air, unleashing flames onto those below them.
